Project Description

Armenian Wedding Sydney

For centuries marriage has been a gateway to identify oneself. It is also the art of making love. Cultures, ceremonies, and traditions often differ from country to country, and this different cultures and traditions must be observed and maintained when celebrating marriage in various parts of the world. An Armenian wedding in Sydney, is not an exception. It is vibrant, rich, extraordinary and quite exquisite they are ordinarily no small feat. It was a beautiful morning when two souls would be joined in love, Joana, and Ara were going to walk together in the path of life. On this wedding day, everything had been put into place, as Ara’s groomsmen and Joana’s bridesmaid helped them to be at their best.

The Armenian wedding is quite a significant event. It is not unusual to have at least 300 to 600 guest, and it is an event celebrated with distinction and glory. For Joana and Ara, this was a day that was going to change their life and make it new from afar the venues were well decorated with the Iranian symbolic colors red and green. The fantastic view of the ocean and the boats were stunning and added an extra touch of class.

When involved in marriage a couple learns a lot. They learn how to fulfill their dreams of sharing joy and sorrows in happy times and even times of trial. To witness joining of the two lovebirds both sets of parents, relatives and friends were present for the exciting and memorable moment in life for the news couple. Joana and Ara had just made the perfect choice of having Biting Designs as their videographer. The couple wanted to keep the memorable day fresh in their lasting marriage, and this would only be possible by having the best videographer in Sydney. As an Armenian wedding tradition, the couple dressed in white, the color white is a symbol of purity, faithfulness, and innocence. Although most modern couples decide on their outfits, the couple did conserve their traditions and colors. The grooms family officially visited the bride’s family and asked on behalf of Ara for their daughter’s hand in marriage. The “kosk kap” takes place at this stage, the kosk kap is a formal dinner which is organized at the bride’s home, and the groom’s family are invited to come in along with their gifts of cognac and chocolate.

For a newly wedded couple, all they dream about is having a bright and attractive wedding. The wedding must be gorgeous and must be something that a couple will live to remember. However, that depends on certain factors. The coordination of the wedding, the catering and of course the dress fitting of the bride. As much as we love to keep memories of a couple’s wedding in video and cinematography we also love sharing some traditions too. According to Armenian traditions, after the couple takes their vows at the church the couple and the guests celebrate at the groom’s house. The groom’s mother welcomes all the guests and throws some flat bread on the guest’s shoulders. Upon arrival of the new couple, a few traditions take place also the traditions are graced with lavish, honey and breaking of plates. The couple breaks plates as they dance, the culture is very prominent as each plate shattered signifies warding off any evil spirits that may be lurking near.

The wedding are very emotional as the bride’s parents have to part and give away their daughter although this is shadowed by the overwhelming feeling of joy and emotions that was present during the Joana and Ara wedding .Everyone danced along as friends and family to the couple showered them with gifts and blessings.

Biting Designs offers very exquisite wedding cinematography throughout the whole of Sydney, and captured memories that will forever be embedded into people’s hearts with excellent films. For Joana and Ara, their day was splendid and magnificent. Therefore for every love story, you have only trust biting to tell it uniquely and with different types of designs and be assured that your requirements will be met.
